Mira Vista opened in May of 2006 for wholesome naturist and nude recreation on an old wild west property with a history dating back to the 1850s. Lake Como - Tampa area
After Lake Como became a cooperative in 1997, it embarked on a number of projects by volunteers to enhance the natural beauty of the resort. Starting in 1999, a tree planting project has replaced many acres of old and dying orange groves with slash pine woods. The establishment of trails is an ongoing project, with improvements each year.
The nature preserve and lakes are home to many species of interesting flora & fauna.
