Naturist travel, planned by people who have actually been there

At most of the properties we book, no. They are clothing-optional, which means what you wear is entirely your decision. Swimsuit, nothing, or topless are all perfectly normal, and most guests dress for dinner or to head into town. A small number of properties do expect nudity in defined areas such as the pool and pool deck, and we tell you which those are before you book.

Clothing-optional describes the rule at a specific property: nudity is permitted but not required. Naturist describes the wider practice and the community around it. In booking terms, the label that matters is whether nudity is optional or expected, because that determines what your days will actually feel like. We use the property's own terms rather than marketing language.

Almost certainly not, and most of our clients had never done it either. Naturist resorts are ordinary adult holidays where people swim, eat, read and take excursions. If you are nervous, a clothing-optional property is the gentler starting point, because nothing is asked of you on arrival. Tell us it is your first time and we will point you at somewhere forgiving.

No. Singles are welcome on both our resort stays and our group trips and cruises, though a single supplement may apply depending on the property or sailing. Some properties are couples-only and some welcome singles, gay and lesbian guests alike. We will tell you which category a property falls into rather than let you find out on arrival.

When we describe a property as all-inclusive, it means accommodation, meals, drinks, activities, taxes and gratuities are covered in the room price. Not every property we book is all-inclusive. Several are room-only or self-catering, sometimes with an optional meal plan for an extra cost. We state which applies for each property.

No, and we would rather say so plainly. All rates shown are estimates in US dollars. They are not guaranteed and vary by season, early booking discounts, currency fluctuation, local taxes and the accommodation you choose. Contact us for a current quote on your dates.

Yes. We regularly send clients on escorted naturist sailings, including charters from Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia through Adriatic ports of call, and we co-host some of them. On board, nudity is welcome and expected except in port and at meal times. These are arranged through our European trade association affiliates, so dates and rates change. Ask us for current departures.

Most of the properties we book are adults-only. One or two, such as the naturist retreat in Puglia, do welcome families, though the owners tell us that guests with children are rare. If you are travelling as a family, say so up front and we will filter to properties that genuinely accommodate it.
